Share to Care

Share to Care (2023) is a unique sensory exploration interwoven with Thuy Han Do’s evocative poetry, seeking to deepen its emotional resonance through the realm of scent. The event drew a crowd of approximately 300 attendees from diverse backgrounds. Han, a notable figure within the Vietnamese women’s society and a multifaceted artist as both a poet and songwriter, shared her verses set to music, some of which centered around the poignant love narrative anchored by the lemon flower. In collaboration with Jocelyn Fullerton (Cult of Scent), an enchanting lemon flower fragrance was crafted, and scent strips imbued with this aroma were handed out synchronously with the performance. The sensory alignment of poetry and perfume foregrounded the universality of experiences and emotions, bridging language and cultural divides.
