First presented at Surry Hills @ Play, where it was heralded as a finalist, this game engages players in identifying, discussing, and sharing their personal relationships with various scents. From easily recognizable aromas like chocolate to more nuanced fragrances such as cedarwood, participants from all age groups embark on a three-part journey. They start by silently identifying a scent, then dive into collaborative conversations about their choices, and finally, weave their shared scent experiences into a collective poem using descriptive word cards. The game’s goal isn’t about winning, but rather understanding and celebrating our individual and shared scent memories.
